Mini Affordable Bae-Cation

Who doesn’t love a mini affordable bae-cation. My hubby and I spent our 4/20 weekend in Tampa, Florida and what I can remember, was LIT! This was our first time visiting Tampa and I must say that I was VERY impressed. The entire city was super clean, the food and weather was amazing, and everyone seemed to be very open and friendly. We spent a lot of time enjoying the beach and exploring local attractions.

Now let’s discuss how you can save money on your next bae-cation.

Go visit a friend
Don’t you just love having true friends that stay in another state 🙌🏾 Lodging expenses makes up a large part of your traveling budget, so if you are able to stay with someone you know, you’ll for sure save some coins.

Pros
No hotel fee
Frig available for left overs
Your friend chauffeurs you around

Cons- Being in someone else space

The Cheapest Flight
We got our tickets for about $100 round trip on Spirit Airlines. Nowwww waittttt, I know your face is probably frowned up because you’re fake bougie, but any flight that has a round trip for a $100, I’m on that bit**! Okkuuurrr. I fly Southwest like 96% of the time because I love my free two bags, but the cheapest flight is the best decision always. It’s going to get you to the same destination regardless. Now you may be just a little uncomfortable, but your bank account will be proud of you. Make sure to book your flight on a Tuesday or Monday night (always cheaper) Also if you can fly out on a mid day week, you’re def winning.

Pros
It’s cheap (You're saving)
You gone make it to your destination (🙏🏽)

Cons
Baggage fees/ Hidden fees (Pack lightly)
When the wind blow, the plane move
No leg room

Look up free activities
Yes mam! S/O to google for getting me not only through school, but life 🙌🏾 There is always free stuff going on and although you may not be “interested” in the event, you and your friends can always make fun out of it. You’d be shocked on how random events are perfect for networking and meeting new people.

Pros
It’s free
New experiences
Networking

Cons
Can sometimes not be your vibe (its free tho)

Look up the menu before you go
I had to add this because we are BIG foodies! We love to eat, especially while visiting other cities. I am an avid review reader and I ALWAYS look up the menu before I go. This also saves everyone time on ordering so that we can get our food as fast as possible 😂

I hope you enjoyed some tips on how to save on your next Bae-cation. I’m excited to see where our next mini trip will be. Enjoy some of our pics below.
