Relax

I laid in the sand, closed my eyes, and envisioned my future while listening to the waves come up on shore and hit the children’s feet. How deep am I?

I know I’m not alone when I say I have mad love for the beach. It’s relaxing and the only time I feel as if I can tune everything out and get lost in my thoughts. I’ve never been good at meditating. Usually when I attempt to meditate I start thinking about trying not to think and then boom, food pops up 🤦🏽‍♀️ it just doesn’t work for me. The beach makes it so easy to zone out and meditate it’s almost scary. I spent my beach day soaking up the sun, people watching, eating, and taking a short romantic walk with my hubby.

Lately I’ve been focusing heavy on my marriage and the importance of allowing myself to relax. I don’t know about y’all but I have horrible anxiety when I feel like I’m not accomplishing anything. Although I’m traveling and doing everything I prayed for I always think I need to do more. I tell my husband all my anxiety’s and fears and he sets me straight every time. Everyday he constantly reminds me of gods love and the importance of being patient. I have no patience, but I know all great things take time. I’m thankful god placed me right here, right now, in Cali with the beach. A place where I can finally meditate, relax, and give all my thoughts hopes and dreams to the universe.

My outfit is from JustIn boutique in Houston,Texas. I keep telling y’all I went in that store and went crazy 🤦🏽‍♀️ If you live in the Houston area, you will not be disappointed.
