Stand-Outish
If 2-3 people don’t compliment my outfit when I’m out in public I feel some type of way. 😩 Okay that was a real confession. I have the confidence to know that I look good, but compliments add like 15% of yaaasss bitch to the outfit 😂 or maybe I just love compliments. No, seriously though, I love to stand out! It’s kind of weird because if people pay to much attention to me I lowkey be having some anxiety issues 🤷🏽♀️ it’s hard to explain. That may be a great topic to talk about in one of my blogs. 🤔
Anywho, first impressions and appearance is everything! Your outfit is a form of personal expression, it speaks before you even open your mouth. I love for my outfits to make people smile and feel a since of freedom. Even if they're thinking "what the hell does she have on" I'm helping them stay mentally active which lowers their risk for Alzheimer's disease. Stay Woke! I want all of this extraness to make people feel confident enough to wear whatever they want. Often people compliment me and say, Oh, I wish I could wear that and I tell them you can! Boom, conversations are started, confidence levels are boosted, and connections are made. Studies show that peoples actions are influenced by appearance. I notice that my patients treat me differently when I go to work in just scrubs vs when I go in headbands and lipstick. I feel they are more open and attentive to me. Standing out is more than just physical appearance. Standing out is having a positive spirit, determination, humility, interpersonal skills, uniqueness and the attitude of knowing you deserve more. If you are not somebody, you’re nobody! Let people recognize you for your uniqueness and individuality. Start exploring what you like, be confident AF in it, and be a trendsetter.
I got soooo many compliments from people about this outfit 😬 I just smile thinking about it. I am so in love with this shirt (shop below) and these $20 velvet boots that I got at Forever 21 💃🏽 This is my first nighttime blog and all respeck goes to my good friend Keisha who stood out there in the cold with me taking pics. 🙌🏾 Lord I’m thankful for friends that believes in me and sees my vision. Now she can’t ever say we ain’t been through nothing together before because we was cold as shit! Love you! So in conclusion ❤️ Remember God called us all to be different, become obsessed with your passion, set the bar high, and stand out always!
