Girl Boss

If you don't have big dreams and goals, you'll end up working for someone who does! Happy Friday to all my girl bosses out there!

Can we take a moment to admire this B O S S dramatic ruffle blouse though! As soon as I laid my eyes on it, I knew I had to have it. This blouse is sure to turn heads when you step on the scene! I decided to go with a more casual look by pairing my dramatic top with red high waisted pants (49 cents at the thrift store).  Unfortunately, I had to slim down to get into them, which explains why the zipper area is safety pinned down. This zipper wasn't strong enough for my pizza pudge, I know, just disrespectful. There is no shame in my game. This outfit was the perfect canvas for my $3 thrifty tassel snakeskin loafers, and my grandmothers vintage ebony magazine bag. I truly felt beautiful and fearless. 92% of my friends don't even read/visit my blog. Most of my support come from people that don't even know me. I sometimes expect the worse from people, so this doesn't bother me much (working on that). I also can be better about supporting my friends businesses as well. I just wanted to take a moment to express my gratitude to you all. I truly appreciate you for supporting me, emailing me, and pushing me to continue to blog to be the Girl Boss I know I will become one day. Everyone wasn't built to take your journey with you, and that's okay.

With that being said,

What have you done today that's preparing you to be 100%  satisfied with your life? Have you started that business you've talked about? Did you apply for that position you didn't feel qualified for? The journey to becoming a girl boss is tough. It's super easy to get sucked into the NOW instead of what CAN be if you worked hard towards it. I'm here to encourage you not to give up! No goal is unreachable. Better days are coming.

What's my definition of a Girl Boss?

A Girl Boss is young, old, learning, and mentally maturing. A Girl Boss knows what she wants. A Girl Boss is motivated to absolutely kill it in all areas in her life. A Girl Boss puts herself first, gets up early, plan in advance, is fearless and confident, LISTEN more than she speaks, and always remain positive. I don't have all the answers, and I have SOOOO many things that I need to work on. But, as of right now, I'm embracing these bumpy roads, because I know that's just apart of the process. Keep on pushing sis! There's a light at the end of that tunnel. It's time to BOSS UP!
